Source for Ruger Bisley frames?
Recently acquired a Ruger Vaquero Bisley, and it's kind of making me hate the standard plough handle on my Blackhawk.
Even when I bought the blackhawk I had hopes to convert it, but I've noticed it seems impossible to find a frame... Can find the hammer and such but the grip frame seems sold out everywhere for a couple years now... Anyone know where I can get one? |

Thanks Nathan, was hoping to find a steel one but may have to settle for the brass or aluminum since the steel ones have been sold out forever.

I don't think the Ruger Bisley hammer will fit an unaltered "plow handle" standard Blackhawk grip frame.

believe the bisley hammer needs the the "hump" ground off to fit in the normal frame. I opted for a super blackhawk hammer which was drop in, but hoped to eventually do a bisley conversion.
