Unidentified cap-'n-ball revolver, need help please

Hello - a friend brought this to me yesterday in hopes I could identify it. I have absolutely no idea what it is, except possibly ACW era? Cap and ball, appears to be .36? Brass frame, hammerless....and double-action. Worst of all - absolutely no markings whatsoever...anywhere.
Any help is appreciated, thank you!
NFS!

It looks like the Improved Mariette, Zhuk 72, except that one has a side barrel rammer instead of the under barrel Colt type you show. Perhaps you have an "unimproved" Mariette. Perhaps a copy, considering the lack of markings.
Mariette made a lot of pepperboxes and a lot of pinfires, apparently not many percussion.

Might have more luck in the black powder forum.

My guess would be a predecessor to the Starr 1858. I think it’s an earlier Starr.

Can't see your pictures. When I try to enter your links directly into a browser I get a "URL Signature Expired" error.
