Savage Rifle Accessories
I'm looking into buying a new long range rifle. Savage looks very promising, but lack a few characteristics that I look for. The biggest thing I don't like are the stocks. I want a more tactical stock, like what you see on Accuracy International rifles. I want to know where you guys go to find tactical accessories for your Savage rifles. Thanks.

Savage has some tactical stocks but the guns get pricey.
Model: 10 FCP McMillan $1,400.00 Model: 10/110 FCP HS Precision $1,200.00 And there is always the ultimate savage tactical rifle the Model: 10 BA $2,200.00 Here is a cool place to look for stocks and they got a bunch of different types and price ranges . http://www.stockysstocks.com/servlet...EED/Categories

You can get all kinds of stocks for a Savage 10/110 series rifle. It all comes down to what you want, and how much you want to spend.
There are a limited # of stocks that are inletted for detachable magazines, but almost any stock can be inletted for them by yourself or a gunsmith. For a very good 'Tactical style" stock,at a very good price,Choate makes them. I have a couple of them on my 10FCP 308,and 110FLP 25/06. If you want a lighter stock than the Choate-it weighs around 4.2 lbs, then go with a Manners,McMillan,or Stockade. These are a far more expensive stock, but worth the extra money. I've ordered a Manners for the 6.5 Creedmoor that I just built. |
