mercury recoil reducers
Anybody else out there use a mercury recoil reducer in the butt of their shotgun or rifle? I use them in mine and I am very happy with them. The one benefit that comes with it is that the muzzle doesn't climb a whole lot, the gun just kicks straight back. Just my .02.

Do you use the in-stock, the magazine cap, or the clamp on style?

I had a Benelli Nova for a while that had one. It added 1/2 lb to an already too heavy shotgun. I could tell a difference when using it, but probably not any more than adding 1/2 lb to the weight of the gun.

Since I don't use muzzle breaks (I don't care for them), I have two of the mercury recoil reducers in my 460. They are good.
