Sarco Inc, anybody?

I'm thinking of placing a good-sized order from Sarco Inc in the next week or so.

Any of you ever dealt with them?

yankytrash,

I dealt with Sarco back in the early 90's. I found them to great people to deal with. I know their ads in Shotgun News haven't changed for over 20 years. Hope this helps.

I have purchased several C&R's from Sarco over the years and have never had any problem with them.

Parts

Got some 03A3 parts. Delivered quick and rust-free, unlike Numrich parts.

Numrich

I got an 03A3 Trigger guard that wasn't park'd or blued, it was painted black. I got an 03A3 rear sight that was pitted from the rust. Both in the same shipment.

That's enough Numrich to last me a long time.

Regards.

They tend to take 4 weeks to get stuff shipped. But, they do ship what you ordered, it's in the condition they described, and the prices are OK.

Watch out if you intend to phone your order in, they dont have a 1800 number, and the sales rep is writting your order down on paper, then forwards it to the girls in the typing room who actually type the order up, right now they are typing in orders from the first week of January. I dont know if ordering it over the net would get it into the system faster, I didnt have a chance to ask when I called two minutes ago for an update on one of my orders.

I've bougth ammo and brass from them. While it may be in stock, it just takes them a while to ship. Who knows why? I bought some "Scratch-and-dent" .223 ball ammo, that they claimed would be about 10% rejects. My inspection showed about 30-40%, and my standards are not too high. I called them to complain, and they accepted that ammo back in trade on another deal they had. Coulda been better, but coulda been a lot worse. I'm satisfied.
