Lubing your AR?

That's just wrong!

Aloe and Vitamin E added -

Still laughing from seeing that picture but it was quite a good article.

Thanks for the kinds words Glenn.
I use that particular product at every class- and have for the last 4 years or so.
The majority of those who talk guns haven't the slightest clue as to what keeps an M4 running. We used to see a laege number of students attending class in the same boat, but it is changing around now.
People finally are getting the word that the M4 platform needs lube- more is better, and what you use isn't as important as where you use it.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Recent convert to SLIP2000 here. My sin was not of omission but of over commission of the heavy stuff (usually Kellube). Traveling the Road to Lebanon (aka I-65), I was blinded by the logic of an Angel, or was it a short Irishman???

But what do I know I write on my guns and wear my hat sideways.

Pat, are you going to Ken's swearing in? If not, I can post photos.

Pat, have you found a source for Evinrude Johnson Engine Tuner? It's not carried in stores around here, and the one place I was able to find one line charges as much for shipping as for the product itself.

Unknown Buzz. I had a friend pick some up for me a while back, but the Slip 2000 725 Cleaner works as good or better so i have been using that.

We first started using it at a school which had a fair percentage of whiners. They whined, and they received some.
Later on we started thinking about problamatic guns (often possessed by the same people) and figured- Hey, will it work on guns?
It did, and does.

Wait, that wasn't just a refilled bottle? My wife is going to love that one!

Negative- not refilled. As i stated in my article almost anything can keep the AR going. You may not want to use Vagisil full time, but then again i don't want to use sun tan lotion, Jergens, urine or saliva.
But in a pinch, they may keep your gun running long enough to get you through the fight.
I'm trying to buy an industrial strength / size can at SAM's club....

A female student had the perfect phrase for an advertisement for Vagisil.
Unfortunately, it may be too powerful for those with delicate egos...

Sorry, just trying to prompt you for what your female student said, if it's acceptable for this board.
