I don't know how good this is, but the other day I got a kick outta this guy's dog's name. He said his name is (phonetically): "Dee-Oh-Jee", with emphasis on the "Oh". Which is just D.O.G. spelled out. If I ever get another German-origin dog (GSD, rottweiler, GSP, GWP, dobermann, etc.), it's gonna be named Shultz or Colonel Klink.

Maybe some history on the breed will give you an idea:

How about Blackie or chocolate? Ohh, wait, this is the same guy that named himself Hello123. Little did I know that I would enjoy TFL so much. Now I wish I would have put a little thought into a better name. No way to have a name upgrade is there? Hah, Hah

Dutch is the best name for a hard core hunting type dog I've ever heard is.

"This is my Labrador Retriever 'Newfoundland.'"

Or, "Prince Edward Island." "Ontario." "Saschetchewan." "Northwest Terrirtories." Oooh, yes, Northwest Territories!

Boy or Girl?

Two sylables are best. Gunner, Farley (good for yellow Lab), Barley, or Yaeger/Jaegar (if he is a black Lab.)
