HK P8 in the US?
Does HK sell the P8 here in the US?
I know there's some available here in the States that people may of personally imported, but it's not something I've ever personally seen for sale.

The USP here in the U.S. any current HK has a polygonal barrel. It originally had a conventional barrel but that was changed around 1996. That is the major difference. Perhaps if you want one, a dealer may be able to order a P8 for you. What draws you to a P8 instead of a standard USP?

A number of years ago, on this forum I believe, when the p8's were being imported en masse, there was someone that owned a gun shop that was selling different grades of them. i also believe that cdnn had about the same thing going as well as a few other gun shops.
lasted about half a year or more, then the supply dried up. the biggest problem wasnt the guns, it was getting more magazines. you can still get p8 or psp but they now run lower 1k to 1400 or better depending on grade on gunbroker. neat little guns with the squeeze thing. wish i had gotten one during the imports. but to answer your question, i do not believe that the p8 is a current production gun from hk, and other than the imports do not remember them being sold recently. |

Dondor,
You may be referring to the P7M8. The P8 is the German military nomenclature for the HK USP model, just as we call a Beretta 92fs the M9. I've only seen one M8 in the U.S., as mentioned on HKPro. |

The P8 was once sold by Capital City Firearms, and was imported with the clear/white plastic 15-round mags. There are some out there. They are a USP with traditional rifling and a reversed safety (up is fire).
