CZ457 scope mount

Want to add a scope to my CZ 457 .22LR for both myself and kids...

Have seen 0, 15, 30 and other MOA mounts...

Primary use would be for longer ranges but want it to be usable at "normal" ranges also (25 yards +) for the kids...

Any recommendations???

Believe rifle is a CZ 457 "lux" model...

T

I had something long winded and confusing to say, but this write up says it better. I'm not recommending Athlon for your .22 lr, but I use their Talos 3-12X40 Mil-Dot on my Bergara BMR and it's a pretty decent optic. My rifle uses a 30 MOA rail from the factory.

I use the Area 419 30 MOA bases for both of my CZ 457's--excellent products. I usually use a higher power scope (Lots of elevation is a must if you are looking to shoot between 50 and "way out there" yards. The most important factor in ELR 22lr shooting in my opinion: shooting in absolute calm conditions.
