m855a1 for m4

Does anyone know anything about the new m855a1 ammo for the m4 we are in afghanistan just got here and think were supposed to get the new ammo was wondering if any of yall could tell me anything about it or if any other veterans my have any experience with it. Thanks in advance.

The general idea is that it penetrates hard things a bit better than 855, and upon hitting somthing squishy, the penetrator and jacket seperate, causing two diverging wound tracks. Not as devestating as more complete fragmentation, but better than nothing.
