I want to put a suppressor on my taurus 92
But i have a few questions,
1) where do i go about getting a threaded barrel for it? 2) what cans would you recommend for it? does anyone on here have a canned pt92? 3) does anyone make a 9mm flash suppressor that would be able to thread on to the barrel when im not using the can? Any other info is always appreciated. Randy

Most just get the short bit of the factory barrel that protrudes threaded 1/2X28. Threaded barrels would be available for purchase from barrel manuf.
The beretta/taurus is one of the pistols that can operate with a non boostered silencer, but it will also work with a booster, so buying a booster silencer will give you more options in mounting it onto other pistols. |

It is likely you will need higher sights: one option (I used them) is http://www.millettsights.com/controller.php
You can thread the stock barrel -- I did at first then went to a slightly longer barrel threaded from: http://www.jarvis-custom.com/ Picture: I use either the updated SWR PC-K2 or an AAC Evolution 9 on the gun. It works with either booster or not. Edit: You can bore a larger hole in the AR-15 (.223) flash suppressor since it has 1/2x28 threads .. just be careful you do not confuse a small hole one with your larger hole thread protector for the pistol.

Trident from SWR works well on Taurus 92 and 99. It is also full auto rated.
