Has anybody put the wood grips on their K40/K9? How did it change the feel of the grip - larger, smaller, or just different?

The inventor of the Pager Pal line of rigs was at a local show last year. He was wearing his stainless K40 with the wood grips. The texture of the wood will not grab your clothing like the tacky rubber ones will. I liked them, though they did seem a tad more hand-filling than the standard grips.
