IMR says not to exceed 60g of 7828 behind your 160 g bullet. Google IMR!

Personally, I have had a bit better luck with 4831 ... uh, H4831.

Enjoy.

Another place to look is www.handloads.com, it doesn't have everything but it will have loads for different bullet weights. A lot of times you can use powder info pretty much the same for a given weight bullet. That means same weight bullet but different maker.HOWEVER, ALWAYS start on the low end of the charge scale and work up just in case you run into pressure quicker. Different bullets slide down the barrel, or expand their rear ends more or less during firing. Every model is different. Also, take heed when using this site because while some loads look ok, some are obviously warmer than recommended. It's good to have some experience when using a site like that. Just trying to help. The Ole' 7mag ought to wail 160 grainers downrange pretty good with IMR 7828. Another good slow powder to try if you wish is RL-22. I've had great results in .300 Win.and 25-06 with heavier bullets.
