While maybe not quite as good as some of the more costly programs, this one is free and good out to 1000 yards. I have been happy with it.

If this works for you, then maybe the $ can be spent on something else?

Back when a 386-20 SX was a decent computer,I bought a copy of Sierra's ballistic prgram. It still serves me very well.

BTW,a program teams up very well with a Chronograph!

I'm looking for one of those hand held portable things that I can take to the range. I saw one guy that had a PDA or Palm Pilot with a program on it.

What's a cheap way to get one of those?
THANKS!

I'm not real well versed on Blackberrys and such, likely the program could be loaded on one.

But,you might look at the PACT chronograph with a ballistic calculator built in.I have not used one,but it might be just your ticket .Not too bad pricewise at about $230,However,do your own research on the capabilities of the software.I have no experience with it.

The perry systems works on it.
