Magnifier with a red dot?

I've installed the Vortext Strikefire II on my AR. I'm toying with the idea of pairing it with the Vortex 3T magnifier and was curious to know if anyone has done this and if they liked the set up. The longest range around here is 150 yards, so not sure if needed.

Thoughts?
Thanks

Depends on what you're shooting at. The 4 MOA dot will entirely cover a ground hog at 100. Adds another 11 ounces too.

I've played around with a few different magnifiers, but not the one you mentioned. One thing I noticed was the eye relief on all of them was terribly short .

I've looked through the Vortex magnifier numerous times and it was pretty fuzzy compared to the EOTech magnifier I've looked through.
