Experience with Athlon Riflescope?

Looking for a longer range scope ... Coyotes and the like. I hear high praise for the Vortex scopes. I seen the pricing on Athlon scopes, and for the features, FFP and illuminated reticle seems haed to beat. Sure, foreign made like Vortex but have the same lifetime warranty.
I have always went Leupold, but one of their scopes in a 6-24 with FFP illuminated reticle with target turrets would be high $'s.
Any other recommendations? Would also appreciate input of those that have used the Athlon brand of scopes.

I've got a 4 1/2-14 Nikon that has been really good.
