Congratulations on an excellent little revolver. I owned one for years. I traded mine in a fit of stupidity for a soulless AR15 upper. I am on the lookout for your revolvers bigger center fire brother, the R73 in 32 H&R mag.

You can still find these NEF/H&R revolvers for under $200, but they're going to be the .32 and .38 S&W calibers. The fact is with .22 the ammo is so cheap and easy to get that any gun chambered for it has a higher value; it's similar to the 9mm and 40. Because 9mm is so cheap, any gun for it will sell for 100 bucks more than the same gun in .40 S&W.

I've talked to gun store employees that agree with me that .32 revolvers are better than .22 magnum, but they can't justify owning a .32 revolver when the ammo costs "a buck a shot." When you can get .22 for 30 bucks a brick now, the appeal of any .22 LR gun grows.

This little gun shoots just about a inch high with 40 grain LRN standard velocity.... Which which will be my plinking round .. Mostly it will be carried with CCI shot rounds ..

My neighbor is already trying to swap me out of it ..

I have one of those pictured in the foreground.

It was given to me by a co-worker when his father passed away. He refused any payment and just gave me several guns. The one I have is really a good shooting little revolver. Enjoy it!

Congratulations. I have had three of those, and still have one in 32 magnum. Mine have all been good shooters, given the small fixed sights.
