Tallball- Your CO is chrome plated. Star never made stainless guns.
It is very cool, though. That's one StarI don't have. |

"Tallball- Your CO is chrome plated. Star never made stainless guns.

First of all, I'm going to start with...whipping out your fancy gun to show it off in a formal setting sounds like a really bad idea but...
That being said, my suggestion would be something like a Kimber Micro 9 Sapphire or...go get a nice Glock 43 and have it stippled, custom slide cuts/serrations, and custom finish so its uniquely yours. Have fun brandishing your concealed carry gun...

My "real" pocket pistol is an LCP with MagGuts conversion to 7+1, but I've been thinking about a fancy dress pocket pistol too. I have an FN 1910/55 from the early 1960's in pretty good shape. My plan is to add a few engraved embellishments, re-blue and put on some nice custom grips.

I think Cheapshooter, and a few others have the right idea. “Don’t show, don’t tell””

Don't own one but my vote goes to the 1908 Colt pocket hammerless.
If I did have one I'd be saying "Here's looking at you kid" just like Bogey.

I do understand that a concealed weapon is a "don't ask, don't tell" thing for most situations, and concealed means concealed (not printing), but I think the situation the OP mentions, where he might want to show off a little "style" is a gathering of other firearms enthusiasts, where its likely several of them are carrying concealed at the time as well.
I don't see an unacceptable risk in this, provided its is done and over with before any alcoholic entertainment is served. There is a degree of risk, sure. There is degree of risk getting out of bed in the morning, and if you don't there is a risk of dying in bed.. If you're wearing a dinner jacket or tux, Bond made the PPK the classic style.

A really nice pocket pistol is the one '007' carried; the Beretta 950 Jetfire, 25 auto, 8 rounds. I carry it to church every Sunday in my dress pants pocket or Bermuda shorts pocket. It has a pop up barrel and the accuracy is pretty good at 20 feet. The little mouse gun is quite the show and tell piece.

I very seldom carry in my pocket, but the Sig P232 or P238 would be my choice..

LCP
My LCP is always in my pocket, that makes it very stylish. How could it be at all stylish if it is not there?
My G19 lives at home most of the time now, it's not what one would call stylish either. Both are highly functional. I started carrying with the G19, found myself not packing it due to comfort issues, esp. in the car. The LCP is there, that's all the stylish I need.

Just saw a new LCP II in Harvest Moon camo. Now if DeSantis would just offer a Nemisis pocket holster to match, that would be stylin'!
I would feel really great to know I had a very cool looking pistol in my pocket that hopefully nobody ever sees!
