38 - 357

My friend says he can shoot 38s in a 357. I say no...only 38 specials in a 357.

Who is right?

Is a .38S not a .38 Special?

If you/he mean a .38 S&W, you are correct.

Diameter of the cases. S&W brass is shorter but thicker, it won't chamber in a .38S or .357.
