Strange - My account at APS has been deleted. I'm now listed as a "guest."

Dunno what's going on...

I'll send an email and report back.

APS has moved to a new server and all of the bugs are still being worked out.

For a variety of reasons, it's going to take awhile to work everything out and get the system functioning smoothly.

Have patience.

Log in, see if it doesn't work. It was up briefly after migration, then down for maybe a day before it was back up.

"I'm starting to get the shakes..."

Use them wisely.

Mix some paint, or make a milk shake.

Yeah, I'm jonesin', too.

Maybe I can set up a bunch of sock puppets and sharpie folks' handles on them. Then, I can have conversations with them, in a serial, post-like fashion.

Or not.

I'm going to bed.

Your idea is a good one. Unfortunately, it can be embarrassing if others see your socks and begin to ask questions.

Just speaking hypothetically, you understand. I have never, ever done that.

Much.

Well.

It appears that not only ha this issue sent APS to the land of the dreaded 404 error, it has also taken olegvolk.net with it.

Let's hear it for reliable hosting sources...

Exactly why I tell clients to carefully read hosting service contracts with an eye to recovering their data in the event of a dispute. In fact, for the last two clients I suggested that their data be backed up daily and sent to an off-site storage facility in the client's name. In the event of a dispute, the client can recover the data and set up his own system elsewhere within days.

This situation with THR/APS and the 3rd party support is going to get ugly.
