How much of a dent in the case mout can be tolerated before you have trouble with the resizing die? What remediation do you do?
Many thanks,

Dented Mouths
2 Cats, (neat name)
Put the dented cases in the resizing die. Chances are that will get rid of the dents. If it doesn't, don't reload just yet, try putting it in the mouth expander die. If that gets rid of the dent, just run it through your regular reloading process. If it doesn't toss it out. Quantrill |

On REALLY extensive dents, like where someone ran over them with a truck, I just use plyers to more or less get the mouth round and then a case mouth flairing die to get it shaped correctly. Very few cases have to be tossed for this.
