Along with some other reloading things I recently aquired, there was a black RCBS powder measure. It's hopper is all metal and a little smaller than the current production.
Does any one know about this item? How old is it? How rare is it? How valuable is it? thanks for any information. |

You could be a little more descriptive...
Does it have a round or square hopper? Does it take slide-in discs or does it have the calibrated slides? Does it have a wood, metal or plastic knob on the arm? [This message has been edited by Ricciardelli (edited February 25, 2000).] |

It has a round hopper, looks like Stainless steel.
Before I answer the other two questions, I'll say that I am going to see it again on Sunday, and maybe even come home with it. I'll be back on Monday with more information. Thanks for responding. |

It is an RCBS Uniflow powder measure, at least that's what is stamped on it. It's black, and has a round metal hopper.
I plan on keeping it, but would like to know approximately how old it is. |

The way I understand it, the metal hoppered powder dispenser is for reloading blackpowder cartridges. It reduces the chance of a static spark. ------------------ johnnyb A slow hit beats a fast miss. |
