Along with some other reloading things I recently aquired, there was a black RCBS powder measure. It's hopper is all metal and a little smaller than the current production.

Does any one know about this item?

How old is it?

How rare is it?

How valuable is it?

thanks for any information.

You could be a little more descriptive...

Does it have a round or square hopper?

Does it take slide-in discs or does it have the calibrated slides?

Does it have a wood, metal or plastic knob on the arm?

It has a round hopper, looks like Stainless steel.
Before I answer the other two questions, I'll say that I am going to see it again on Sunday, and maybe even come home with it.

I'll be back on Monday with more information. Thanks for responding.

It is an RCBS Uniflow powder measure, at least that's what is stamped on it. It's black, and has a round metal hopper.

I plan on keeping it, but would like to know approximately how old it is.

Triggerjerk, Try asking a cowboy shooter. The way I understand it, the metal hoppered powder dispenser is for reloading blackpowder cartridges. It reduces the chance of a static spark.
