compact 1911 questions
So I picked up a little citadel compact 1911 45 and love it. It already has the skeletonized trigger, hammer and s nice beaver tail from the factory. I'd like to get some nice grips with hex screws and some more mags. Any recommendations to keep it running and looking good?

I've tried different grips on my SW1911 sub-compact, but I keep going back to the factory synthetic ones. They're not pretty, but they work extremely well. Thin, grippy, and tough. If you're more interested in function over cosmetics, I recommend these.

I am about to pay off a Rock Island Armory compact 1911 I've had on layaway for about a month. I'm leaning towards these guys in Vietnam for my grips: http://www.handicraft-vn.com/shop/pi...c-101_102.html
I'm deciding between the white buffalo bone, the black buffalo horn with either the Star of David or menorah abalone insert, or have him do a custom set with the white buffalo bone and either the Star of David or menorah abalone insert. |
