Asked and answered, and not on topic for this forum.

Mike,

Don't want to offend you (since you locked the topic) but thanks to the help from other FiringLine forum members I traced my problem to a defective Linksys router.

I hard wired my computer direct to my modem (bypassing my router) and now can log onto not only this great forum, but also SigForum and others.

Thanks again for all the help from FiringLine and DefensiveCarry forum members.
