Only snubby I have is my mag pug. I may pick up a 637 at some point unless a nice used model 36 shows up.

I carry a J frame or K frame snubbie on my hip every day. And a Ruger LCP in my back pocket

I don't carry concealed much... Where I live and how gun owners are treated here makes it troublesome.

But when I do, I have one piece for the job, all the rest are bigger, longer barrelled 357, 44 and 460 mag hunting rigs... My carry piece is a nothing special, run of the mill, S&W m36-7. Love that little wheelgun!

I carry the 637 on the left regularly. I really like the Airweight S&W's. The one on the top is my '94 Taurus model 66.

I don't care much for snubbies myself, but even I have a couple.

Ruger LCR (38)

Smith & Wesson 642 Ladysmith (38)

And I forget about this one. I got it because it's an unusual example of someone thinking outside the box. Made in the late 50's I believe, it was obviously intended for the female market, something I'll bet not many gun companies worried about back then. They were also made in gold/nickle, and turquoise/nickle, and shipped in a satin lined box.

High Standard R-101, 22 LR. Nine shots.

I am a fan of snubby revolvers, I do love my 627 UDR and my 38 J frames but the one that keeps getting a lot of attention lately is my new Christmas present that I got early from the in-laws and its a Kimber K6S two tone with rose wood grips. What's not to like about a 6 shot size j frame? Now if I could only find a nice 327 lol.

Snubbies have been long time interred beneath a marble memorial. But I'd like to resurrect a classic, pre-lock Model 36.

5 shots of .38 Special is a widow maker. But they are cool.

I have some of the pictured ones: a Charter Arms Bulldog (44), Ruger LCR (38), and Taurus Model 85 (38, aluminum frame, no hammer spur). I carry one or another of them most of the time.

I also have an NEF like the one pictured, but in 32 magnum, and one of the Charter Arms in the same caliber. My wife uses the Charter Arms for HD when I am out of town. The NEF I bought for $120-something just to test the caliber out. It is quite functional.

For the range and plinking I much prefer a longer barrel. I see snubbies as something to carry or use for defense in some way. I prefer them for carry because I shoot them better than small semi-automatic pistols and they are more reliable for me. There will probably be people of this opinion for some time to come, so I expect to see them being manufactured and sold for many more decades.

That pink High Standard is very cool. I think I saw a turquoise one at a gun show once.

Hey Smee78,
You mean a snubbie like this Patriot .327 Fed Mag?
Can shoot .327's, .32 H&R's, .32 S&W Longs and even .32 ACP's.

I would love to have a "Fitz special" sans the cut down trigger guard.

My first CCW gun was a S&W 637. I still have it but my wife took it over and it is now her CCW gun.

It's hard to beat a snub for ease of use and concealment.

Almost anything, particularly if it fits my hand well enough to shoot it quickly and accurately. And the bigger the bore the better.

YMMV,
