Instant E-Mail Question

Starting sometime today, I haven't been receiving the instant e-mails I've always gotten in the past. Is there somethng else I should be doing (I'm pretty much computer illiterate )? Thanks for any assistance.

Are you talking about email notification to a subscribed thread?

A bit more info, if you please.

Yes, I'm not receiving the instant e-mails from responses to posts I've made that I've always received up until today-and that would include the response you just made to me.

Were this me, I would do the following troubleshooting points:

1) Check your e-mail spam filter. I know I have accidentally marked an email as spam instead of deleting.

2) Double check your subscriptions, and make sure they are set to "Instant Email Subscription"

3) Double check your email address, and make sure your email address is correct.

If all those fail, well, I got nothing. That becomes a mod issues, unless someone else has a better idea...

Fix (reverse dns) should be in progress. Once it's working all the undelivered mail should go through. It's only been affecting some ISPs' mailservers, not others.

Broken: roadrunner, comcast, cox, aol...

The big three (google, yahoo, hotmail) look like they've been working.
