Thanks for the advice
Hi Everyone,
A while back I posted that I was shooting a CVA in-line with 110grs of Pyrodex and a sabot 240 gr lead bullet. The accuracy was not there and the recoil was too stout for me. Remington Kid advised that I drop back a little on the powder. He recommended 75 to 80 grs of powder. I started with 70 grs and was so pleased with both the accuracy and lack of recoil that I stayed there. Even my wife said that the load didn't sound as loud from inside the house. The range I built is about 30 yards from my back door. I went from 4 inch groups to 2.5 inch groups at 100 yards. I shoot open sights. I'm very pleased with this set up. Thanks to Remington Kid and Smokin Gun. A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone. Great forum. Tony |

Tony, Happy to help and that it worked out to be a good load for you. Saves money on powder too!
You and yours have a Merry Christmas and a great new year! Take care, Mike |
