Berry Discontinue 148 HBWC?

It looks like Berry Bullets discontinued there 38cal 148 HBWC. Wonder why? They have DEWC in that weight and caliber.

I would imagine it was a business decision....sales don't support having it in the lineup compared to resources being used to produce other bullets that have a higher demand.

Berry's 38 cal. 148 gr HBWC

I have confirmed that yes, Berry's is discontinuing production of the subject bullet, confirmed by phone call to St. George, Utah. However, Powder Valley still has some of them in stock @ a decent price in the 250 boxes, but not the thou's. My favorite Berry's bullet for 357 Magnum lead-free target loads with a lead-free primer & a clean powder.

Well. went to the horse's mouth. Yes they have suspended production of the 38 cal HBWC, and I guess the 32 HBWC as well. Reason it seems is that auto bullet feeders on presses can't tell which way is up, so those folks are buying DEWC. To paraphrase what arizona98tj said, make what you sell the most of and you'll make more money.

They did say they may bring them back after this latest rush wanes some.
