Federal Ordnance M14SA identification

My inquiry was about my M14SA SN C-0145
I have photos and trying to figure out who made it. Had it many years and never had one problem with it at all. With the "C" prefix no one has really answered the question if it was Century or Chinese manufacture.
All the negative I read really makes me wonder. My Gunsmith checked head space and fine. I also had him re-tap the hole for mounting the scope furniture. When I picked it up he said "do not remove the mount" leave it on . Unable to see if the receiver has the set screw to hold barrel on and think it may be behind the Rail ??
I can send photos if anyone interested.
