I must be a fortune teller because I've never been to a Dicks. I've got a BassPro in the same area so just never saw the need.

They'll never know I'm gone. haha

Does anyone really shop and these two chains anyway? I mean really? I don't do any shopping at these places anymore because the pretty much suck. Period, end of story. This policy only serves to reinforce my theory.

If I want something I'll drive to Cabela's or order over the internet.

I bought my Rem 700SPS 308 Varmint from Dicks and it has been one of the best most accurate rifles I have ever owned got it on sale for $498.99 from $598.99 about 3yrs ago also bought a Franchi I-12. Dicks has some good deals on long guns. Just because they have decided to not sale ARs anymore doesn't mean I won't get a bolt action or shotgun from them.
