Ditto a local Phoenix resident a couple of years ago
Rory Verdigan(sp?) came to the aid of a patrolman who'd just been gunned down by a group of FOUR illegals he'd stopped. His intervention prevented the escape of at least one, if not two, who later rolled on the others. Since the gun was taken as evidence, the police union ponied up for a brand NEW Glock to give to Rory in an award ceremony for his heroism.
