BPS Upland/slug gun?

Can slug barrels be fixed onto Browning BPS Upland shotguns? I love the flat sides and the straight-handled stock, but want one gun that shoots it all. Thanks.

I wouldn't see why not----although the shape of the stock might make it hard to use the sights.

I don't think they use a different size magazine like the old Remington Special Fields did. But--I could be wrong too---lol.

John, you may not need a new barrel. My Dad's 1100 with a vent rib works very well with slugs. I got a set of sights that attach to the vent rib and killed 4 or 5 deer with it. Accuracy was 2 - 3 inches at 50 yards. Choke is improved cylinder.

What choke system do you have? Vent rib?
