Status

Is there any way to check the status of a form 4? I sent mine in during the first week of June, so I am expecting the form to come back sometime in mid August. Is there some way to check the status?

You will be waiting longer than mid august. More like late September. It will take 60-75 days normally to get assigned to pending status. Then another 30-45 days for approval. I submitted my paperwork May 3rd and went pending July 8th. You can call (304) 616-4500. That is the main number to the NFA branch. I wouldn't waste my time calling until at least the first week of August.

My Form1 was forwarded to an investigator in early June...
I have no clue what that means.

They've had my paperwork since the beginning of the year.

My first Form4 was done and out in a coupla months, but that was a few years ago.
Maybe the ATF will come to my house for a visit.
I like visitors.

You likely have a different examiner for your f1 than your f4. The proper terminology is “pending”, since early June, I’m going to guess you’ll get it the week after Labor Day.
