PT 1911 9 mm issues

A question for our smiths and members.
I am getting hit in the face with what feels like needles when shooting. Shining a led light down the barrel with the gun in battery and YES UNLOADED I can see light at both back corners on the barrel breech meeting place as well as where the hood meets the breech. Any ideas?
