Perhaps so, especially for noobs that have little experience and even less understanding of what they're doing. But that can be applied to reloading in general.

It was those old guys that developed reloading as it's known today, none of our current self-annointed hot shots contributed anything to what's now common practice! Knowledgeable, careful workers can safely do lots of things that are quite hazardous to the self confident but blissful iggerant!

Yep , back in those days , if ya blew yer fingers off doing something dumb , or creative , it was YOUR fault and you accepted that.

Now if ya hurt yerself doing something dumb , ya hire a lawyer and try to blame it on someone else. Especially if the dumb stunt was based on or off of something ya read somewhere. Then it's the publishers fault.
