I am looking for a good "in the pocket" holster for my S&W 642. I am looking for something practical, comfortable, light weight and reasonably priced. Please recomend a few good holsters and web sites that I could order one from. Thanks, martin6

I' ve been using a Kramer horsehide pocket holster for my model 49 J frame for several years now. Molded on the side facing the body and flat kydex stitched on facing the outside. If it "prints" it gives the appearance of a wallet. It is necessary to wear relaxed fit pants for it to fit comfortably and be accessible/ quick to the draw. Vest and coat pocket carry is a plus. Last seen in Dillon Press catalog for $60 and well worth it IMO. If one MUST go cheap then the Uncle Mikes synthetic foam type will work as good as any in its category. About $8 - $10.

I second Nakano's advice on the Uncle Mike's; It works great for my S&W 342 and you can't beat the $11.00 price tag.
