Marlin 1894 357 Mag

I am thinking about selling my Marlin lever action in 357Mag. I have looked on some gun sites on line to check value, but wondering what you guys think it might be worth? It is in very good shape and shoots well. It is a JM.

As they are not made any longer, they have been commanding a premium...

Blued can easily bring $800 in good shape, and stainless can easily do $1,200 and I have seen higher on the auction sites in the last few years...

It is 1894C JM. I was close. I fixed it, thanks for keeping me on the straight and narrow .

A 357 mag JM stamped 1894 would bring a premium around here - a nice one would sell in the $800-1000 range at a store. You'd probably get close to that if selling it privately to a motivated buyer.

I would imagine $700-$900. I have both an 1894 compact .357 and a .357 Cowboy Competition Octagon and I have had some fairly serious $ offers for the cowboy.
