Missouri Bullet - Bullet Diameter

On their website for .38 Special 148 Grain DEWC-BB for PPC bullets, they have both .357 and .358 diameter available. What determines which diameter to use?

PPC/Practical Pistol Course some people that shoot this course have special diameter barrels and need a smaller dia.bullet .357 and shoot at a slower MV around 700 fps. For most applications outside that the .358 dia. would be your best choice.
