Eotech XPS2 question

Eotech XPS2. Does anyone know how LOW it can be mounted on the rail? On my ARs like like a very low mount, below absolute infact.

I had an XPS2 and I mounted it right on the rail. No additional mount or riser. I did not have issues with cheekweld. It gave an absolute cowitness with my iron sights.

Absolute huh? Hmm. Yeah I like them very low. I have real high cheek bones and like a hard weld. After a day of shooting I have a tenderized cheek.

Correct, with my buis flipped up, the 1moa dot was sitting on the tip of the front post(touching if not slightly covering) in the center of my aperture.

Unfortunately this is without a qd mount, but I figured if I can see my sights through it, who cares. I guess the only way it would hurt is if I got paint or something on my lens. haha.

I also have high cheek bones and I felt that the optic on the rail was perfect for me. Many people use risers for the lower third cowitness but I liked it fine without.

Edit: If you prefer lower than absolute, you may want to look into an Aimpoint T1 or something. I dont know the height of different risers for it but I can tell you that it would be way too low on the rail. I have tried it out of curiosity.

Can I ask a weird favor? Mind measuring from the top of the rail to the dot?

I apologize Chainsaw, I no longer have that optic. I returned it during the rebates after they were sued. I bought it so long back and they are cheaper now that I couldn't turn down trading it in for $100 more than I could get one new.
