The Eotech Situation?
What's this I hear about Eotech having QC issues and issueing recalls? Its not new news but it was to me. I have a 512 that I had on my M1A for a while before taking it off and mounting something more appropriate (read a magnifying optic) for a .308 rifle. Was planning on putting the Eotech on my AR but I'm not sure what to think after reading a few news articles.
Do I have a $400 paperweight?

As long as you don't live in the Arctic or the sandbox you'll be fine. Have you had any problems with yours? I've had mine for a few years and it works great. Slap that thing on your AR and have fun.

They had reticle issues under extreme conditions that they failed to disclose during testing. Ticked a lot of people off understandably.
like mentioned it shouldn't effect yours, just use it and have fun. |
