the Silver Pigeon 1 Sporting continues to grow on me...
it's the only gun I've been shooting lately. Shot down at M&M Game Preserve yesterday. Did really well, blew out over 150 shells! At the end of the day, I wasn't a bit tired. The gun is so well balanced, it puts no pressure on any individual points of my body. I've come to cry uncle and say the Pigeon's barrels are the best I've experienced. The balance of the gun is 50/50 at the hinge point. Swing dynamics on this 32" gun is liquid smooth. Mechanically, totally trouble free. I also appreciate its simple lines, traditional target beads and subtle styling, especially the flush cut Optima chokes.
Mike Yardley was correct, this is one of the best clay target guns, no matter what the cost. If it were my only gun, I would see no reason to buy any other... |

Yeah, ok, I'm reducing my inventory too........
I'm down to only about 18 shotguns, 8 or 9 rifles and about 25 handguns.... ( darn near naked !! ).... |
