Mp-133/izh-81

So with the desire to further expand my firearm collection, I'm thinking about getting a'nuther shotty soon. I have my eyes on two Baikal guns, though I know I'd have to track them down used. One is the MP-133 Magnum pump in 12gx3.5", the other is the MP-133K, apparently also known as the IZH-81, 12gx3" box-fed pump. I assume that, due to being pump action, the box-fed gun would be legal here in Cali but, if it's not, please inform me otherwise. Anyway, does anyone have any experience with the Baikal pump guns? Are there any feeding problems with the box-fed gun?
