Anybody have any experience with this or is it any good? I wasn't aware that brass got graded for sale. Anyhow grade 3 is pretty cheap. Planning on using it for light target loads. Any opinions welcome.

The only difference in Grade 3 brass and Grade 1 brass is that the grade 1 brass has been cleaned and deprimed (and in some cases trimmed and resized). You just have to clean, deprime, and possibly trim grade 3 brass.
Check out Scharch's for good prices on 100% or unprocessed brass. (Midway buys their brass from Scharch's) |

Howdy,
Be carefull of once fired 308 brass. Depending on the source it may have been fired in military machine guns which tend to have oversized chambers and make the brass difficult to rework for rifle applications. Mike |

Thanks for the warning. I stopped using suspect brass for any of my rifle loading, too much hassle with case length, headspace issues. The brass I bought was 45. Its pretty hard to screw-up that stuff.
