250 gr. R.E.A.L. Bullet Question
I'm new to muzzle loading. I have a inline with a 1:28 twist. With the 250 gr. r.e.a.l. bullet lubed with T/C 1000 lube, what would be a good starting charge of GOEX FFg. I'll be shooting at 50 yards. also using the 209 shotshell primer. I can add a wad inbetween if need be. Any thoughts appreciated. Tim

Try 70 grains, then 80 grains, then 90 grains.
See which is most accurate. I certainly would not exceed 90 grains. |

250 gr real pill
I think you should read your owners manual, and use a wad if you use pyrodex pellets, otherwise use a medium load seated on the powder of choice,90 grains of pyrodex rs is very accurate in my in-line,with 209,with 777 my 250 gr SST sabot nearly reaches 2000 fps with 100 grains volume 777fffg,but the former is more accurate
