7.62x25mm hot loads..
Accurate has published the 42,000 cup CZ52 loads in their new load book "Accurate #2". These loads are hot: 700 foot pounds of energy. 86 gr Hornady .308 round nose 1913 fps 41,800 cup AA#9 13.5 gr OAL= 1.316" with Starling brass. Speer 110 gr round nose .308 11.7 gr AA#9 1688 fps 41,800 cup OAL 1.300" Pressures from a test barrel, velocities from a CZ52. I have tried the first and the difference between that and the military or S&B ammo is huge. You don't need a chronograph to tell that these loads kick harder and are louder. And the military loads were killer compared to 9mm loads with the 9mm barrels. [This message has been edited by Clark (edited July 23, 2000).] |
