Beretta 8000 & 92 mags interchangeable?

Are the 15 round mags for these two pistols interchangeable? My 92 mags seem to fit perfectly in my 8000; I only have 10 round mags for it as it was purchased in CA. Just asking before I take it out for trial...

No, the mags for the 92, 8000 Cougar, and PX4 series handguns do not interchange.

I own the 92 and 8000. The mags fit into each model, but they do not catch on the mag release, since it is in a slightly different place for each model.

There are threads and youtube videos on how to mod the mags by cutting a notch in them with a Dremel.
