Double Loading Stand
Just completed, almost, this double loading stand. Made for the Walker, the 1860 and the 1851. Some minor adjustments to be made. All pinned with 3/8” dowels. No glue, nails or screws. All n all I’m very pleased.

Great designs on both of them. Do you have dowels on the bottom to keep the stands from moving or do the stands slide to one end to accommodate for different guns?

I took my design from the hinged models I’ve seen but the compactness was not as much a concern. The block will sit a top my gun cart perfectly between existing trim work.
The stands are doweled through the bottom keeping them stationary. I was going to notch the piece on the end so I could rotate it 180 degrees to accomadate either the 1851 navy or 1860 army but I realized the 1860 fits in the 1847 stand. |

Interesting design... Really shows how much larger the Walker is...
