Magnum revolvers are easy: Flattened primers and/or difficult extraction does it for me - time to back down the load.

It may not be high tech, but It's worked for me for 29 years.

Semi-auto's & light revolvers are trickier because by the time the above-mentioned things occur, a broken gun my have already.
