Marlin Buttstock Cheek Rest
Looking for something to give me just a little more height and some ammo storage for my Marlin 1894. The one linked below looks nice. Any other recommendations?

Same ... works well and they provide multiple inserts for different height. Very tight to put on but it won’t move when your done |

I tried the beartooth product recommended and must say that it’s a total piece of garbage. Are you guys serious?

I'd be interested to see what you come up with.
I like the Beartooth kit on some stocks, but it really didn't work well for me on my 1894c stock (the sleeve fits way too loosely). Might work on a 336, but not on a straight grip. On the other hand, those leather ones often add more weight to a buttstock than I'd like (even before shoving extra ammo in it). That might not matter on a heavier rifle shot off a rest, but it can spoil the handling of a nice, light carbine. Last edited by idek; February 8, 2021 at 09:13 PM. |

Take a leather making class and make your own. Trinidad State offers NRA holster making classes. Other JCs do too.
