How scarce is Pre War M-70 Carbine?

Hi, This my first post. Thanks for having me. I have had quite a few Pre-64 M-70 Rifles & Featherweights over the years, but I have never had a carbine before, it's serial is 34xxx, caliber is 270. How scarce are these? Thanks.

.

Welcome to TFL, Al !

Those short rifles (Winchester never used the word "carbine" for them) are rare enough to command a 100%-125% premium over another pre-war (WWII, 1936-46) Standard M70 in like condition.

Thank you very much for the reply. I've heard of them before but never had my hands on one.
